Your journey begins early on the morning of July 19th, departing Nairobi and heading south toward the Namanga border. After clearing immigration, you’ll cross into Tanzania and continue the short scenic drive to Mt. Longido, nestled in the heart of Maasai land. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your local guide and begin the hike. The climb up Mt. Longido takes approximately 6–8 hours round trip, weaving through shaded forests, rocky ridgelines, and open viewpoints.
At the summit (2,637m), you’ll be rewarded with expansive views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru, and the surrounding plains. After a steady descent, you’ll be transferred to your
accommodation nearby for a well-deserved dinner, rest, and overnight stay

On the morning of July 20th, enjoy a relaxed breakfast and take in the quiet beauty of the Longido area. Depending on time and interest, you may have an optional short cultural walk or market visit before beginning the journey back to Nairobi. Expect to arrive back in the city by late afternoon, bringing your Mt. Longido adventure to a close.
